Are you looking for breakfast recipes that are healthy for your family and taste great?

Breakfast recipes are not something that people always think of looking at, yet having a healthy breakfast is very important to start your day off  right! 

The sad thing is that most people do not eat a healthy breakfast.  If you go down a regular grocery store, typically there is no more than one cereal option without high fructose corn syrup.

Lets face it.

It is easy to buy processed cereal in the store thinking that you are eating right. Every mom wants that for there kids, but it is often a sheep disguised in wools clothing.

Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I hope these breakfast recipes are helpful in starting your day off in a healthy way!

My Healthy Breakfast Recipes Include:

  • Whole grain, nut flour and/or flours with tremendous nutritional value.
  • Natural sugars like raw honey, coconut sugar, date sugar, fruit concentrate, black molasses and pure maple syrup (No white processed sugar)
  • Healthy oils or shortenings instead of butter
  • Nuts
  • Fruit, dried fruit and freeze dried fruit.
  • Protein
  • No chemicals.
  • No preservatives or food coloring.
  • DELICIOUS taste!

Note: I believe in mixing up my breakfast recipes for health reasons. For example, I may serve my family an omelet one day, the next day I use a pancake recipe, the next day wholewheat blueberry muffins and the next day granola cereal.

The only consistent thing that I serve my family every day is fruit and carrot juice. I add this to whatever we are eating for breakfast.

My kids LOVE this whole wheat pancake recipe that I created. I typically top the pancakes with fresh fruit, home made whipping cream, and/or a blueberry honey sauce. It is such an amazing feeling watching my kids eat a delicious pancake that is also healthy for them.

When my husband switched from eating store bought granola cereal to my granola recipe, wonderful things happened. Almost immediately he stopped getting tired in the middle of the day, had more energy and  was satisfied until lunch time, versus getting extremely hungry at 10 am.

My kids also love to eat this cereal topped with fruit, and I know they are starting their day in a healthy way when they eat this healthy breakfast recipe.
